Dublin Zoo
Dublin Zoo is a place where people from any background can appreciate the wonders on show. The Zoo caters for all and allows an interesting insight into the day to day lives of a wide variety of animals from all around the world.
This year the Zoo can boast the arrival of three new animals in the shape of Arria, the 2-metre Giraffe calf, Zuberi, the baby White Rhino and the new arrival for the purposes of mating, Rio, the two-year-old Tapir brought from London Zoo last month. Also they are expecting a young Red Panda from Berlin in the next coming weeks.
A visit to the Zoo this weekend would be highly recommended as this Saturday and Sunday the McVitie’s Penguin Party takes place. This is a family event with music, face-painting, clowns, stilt-walkers and much more for the whole family to enjoy. It’s going to be a wonderful exhibition so if you have space in your diary this weekend, pencil in a visit to the wonderful Dublin Zoo.
