Really, Reality Television

Whilst flicking through the television channels the other day, I came across a show called ‘Jersey Shore’. Not knowing what I was in for, I decided to watch a few minutes of it.
After my brief moment viewing these excuses for people I pondered to myself “Maybe Bin Laden is right, maybe western civilisation should cease to exist.” I mean if this is what passes for ‘must see television’ I fail to see holes in his proclomation.
Reality TV seems to be all the rage, with mainstream television flooded with pointless television shows portraying pointless people with a pointless message.
OK it may be cheap and cheerful television but to be honest with you I would rather have a go at staring at the sun for an hour with my eyes pegged open.
Really, is this the way forward for television, if it is I will be one person who will be taking up more outdoor activities, look what your making me do, i’m losing weight and becoming healthier, damn you reality tv.
